The Enchanted Apple…
… is a tale of 3 friends, Raccoon, Moose and Pika, who go on an adventure to try to save their forest home. The mythical Enchanted Apple is said to grow somewhere in the forest and could be just what they need to turn their dying home back into a lush, beautiful wood. Along the way the friends learn that they can achieve anything if they just stick together!

The Brief for this class was to create the characters, practice poses and emotions and produce a book cover as well as a double page spread.
I chose to set the story at night as I wanted to enhance the glow of the apple against a dark backdrop thus enhancing the magic and wonder of the story.
This story was written by Zoe Tucker for the Make Art That Sells class “Illustrating Children’s Books”. Although all art is my own, the rights to the story belong to Zoe Tucker.
