Hi! I’m Victoria Perry or Victorybell

I’m an illustrator and artist based in the northwest of Ireland. I studied Interior Architecture and Design in University and have since worked in merchandising and drafting giving me a diverse and down to earth background.

I am inspired by a blend of nature, travels and many trips to the thrift shop. I love to draw anything from intricately swirling patterns to cute little animals. With this eclectic mix of designs, I aim to invoke the feeling of rummaging through your grandmothers vintage treasures. Precious trinkets saved from times gone by.

I start any project with a hand sketch. This move my ideas from buzzing around my head onto paper. I brainstorm layouts and character poses before bringing them into Procreate. Though I work digitally, I use brushes that create layers and texture in my art.

It is a dream one day to illustrate picture books of my own stories, and to also illustrate and design a range of children’s clothes or homeware! I’m excited by the prospect of working on projects within publishing, stationary, wall art, home décor, packaging and licensing for retail.
